Increasing exercise is another effective first step to creating a feedback loop which is positive. We need to grab these loops and develop on them when they occur, thus changing our filters, thus changing the stories that we tell ourselves in our own heads. As an exercise provider of 30 years I am a big advocate of any sort of exercise. To take care of ones’ body is also to take care of one’s mind. We all now know that endorphins are released when we exercise, especially the type of exercise which raises our heart rates. We release our ‘pleasure substances’, which help relieve stress and anxiety. Exercise is natures own “drug”. Why wouldn’t we be doing it is more the question to ask ourselves.
My approach to health is very holistic, and once we learn how to move past ourselves and who we ‘think’ we are, the rest is history and freedom possible.
