
Technique:
1. Focus attention in the area of the heart and imagine your breath flowing in and out of heart or chest area - breathing a little slower or deeper if possible.
2. Activate and sustain a regenerative feeling such as appreciation, gratitude, calm, or care
3. Radiate out to others
*If lots of trauma is present then Step 1 is a place to begin. When we are feeling extreme fear/trauma/stress it's sometimes a bridge too far to get to Step 2 and 3 so simply concentrating on the breath is a great starting place*
