![]() It's no co-incidence that I named my 'blog' in the Midweek 'Expose Yourself' some ten years ago now. Why did I name my column this? Because I believe that it is only through facing our 'selves' (and especially in times of chaos) can we discover who we 'really' are. Our strengths, and our weaknessess, which all fall from what we perceive or believe our-selves to be. The only way past something which reveals to us what we are afraid of, is through it I have found..It's that delicate balance between being able to control what we can but recognising how vulnerable we not only are, but need to be as well inorder for a new future to unfurl. Somewhere in the present moment I have found that there is a tender and fragile balance between controlling and letting go...Some people call it 'being in the moment' other's call it 'presence' it really doesn't matter what we 'name' it I've found - whatever that space is has a vibration and as science now tells us is so magnetic....Thousands times more powerful than any other thought. Although I thought I 'knew' this over a decade ago - I look back and say to myself I really didn't 'know' it at all.. and I suspect I will look back in another ten years saying the same thing. However what only matters to me now is my intention to keep holding the tension between what is realised 'in this moment' and professionally all I can offer is to teach others how to do the same - but like any piece of information it's only going to be as good as our willingness to accept, and practise what we know or have learned - and that will only depend on our value and belief in it...The leap to presence isn't as hard as it seems - but rather the path of least resistance. I would thoroughly recommend it.
