Check it out on line! Although its about science, (which is great for those people who are intensely logical) On a laymans level its basically about a holistic approach to physical and mental health. Thoughts become feeling, feeling becomes thinking. At last science gives us an opportunity to try and prevent ill health in the mind and the body, and if you don't want to take that opportunity you would have to ask yourself why not? Your answer to that question is quite significant and can and does change your life. Call me if you get stuck!! As a Wellness Coach, I have been psychoneuroimmunologising and I havn't even realised it!! How exciting, didn't know I was one of those. I wonder how that would look on my CV...
Anyway, so this is something that we've all been doing albeit unconsciously since the day we were born. Its good to see science finally catching up. Once we eventually 'get' this on an individual basis, some very complex problems in our world may have the chance to be transformed. But for now lets keep it simple. (I can hear my mums voice ringing in my ears...keep it simple Carla) So, on a basic level, I want you to think about your photos around your house, or if you don't have photos, a picture or an object that you have chosen to be in your space. Visually for some reason (only known to you) these things/or object bring you some sort of feeling. It could be any sort of feeling from happiness and peacefulness to guilt or absolute rage and anger. Stop right there and think about what that feeling is. Whatever that feeling is has now created a physical reaction in your body, which started with your feeling which has become a reaction which comes from a feeling....etc etc...get the picture? Imagine that over a life time! How hardwired would you become.. Once that cycle becomes habitual it becomes subconscious, and once subconscious it becomes harder to break, but not impossible. If you believe you created this cycle, then that must mean you can un create it! How powerful you are!
