The cycle of change:
Pre – contemplation – No intention of changing anything
Contemplation – Considering the need for change
Preparation – Readiness for something different
Action – Taking action.
Maintenance - Continued practise of actions
I’ve seen a lot of people get to the action stage, but less people are prepared to commit whole heartedly to the maintenance stage, yet it’s the maintenance which gives us the sustained results. To keep ‘relapsing’ on this cycle will keep us stuck. As a coach my role is to support people through these stages. I can offer accountability, strategies and support including Hypnotherapy and Reiki and exercise advice. For those who are at the ‘action’ stage, then strategies specific to needs are put in place. It’s often hard to go through transformation and re-adjustment alone, and sometimes family and friends although loving, aren’t objective enough. Coaching can be a valuable investment. My first meeting is free, so we can assess where you are at and then what pathway forward could be the best fit at this time.
