![]() Wow!.. What an amazing few weeks I’ve had tiki touring around Arizona and New Mexico for the first week and attending Embracing Bliss Conference in the second. Embracing Bliss is a combination of scientists, heart researchers, authors, medicine men, and more who imprat their knowledge in the latest in modern science and heart coherence and the relationship to the planet. I would highly recommend it. It’s held in Sedona Arizona USA which I simply can’t explain in one sentence but will write about the famous vortexes another time. Needless to say the experience was something like I’ve never experienced before and intend to go back next year and take a small group. So if you are interested please get hold of me because I will be organising it soon!.. As expected I needn’t have used a plane to fly home, I was so high on energy that I swear I could have teleported home and saved myself some dollars, but then I would have missed the impressive landing in Whanganui of Air Chathams larger ATR72 which amusingly enough us passengers were not aware that this was an inaugural flight. When you land and see fire trucks on stand by with their lights flashing and hoses on, it makes for a great story!. What a welcome home, and appropriately matched with my own bells and whistles going off internally!. Im so excited, and I havn’t been this excited for a long long time. What the conference re-inforced was that which has been awakening in me for the last year or so anyway. There has been an urgency to unlock something in me that I have been aware of for some time but have been ignoring it because it didn’t suit my linear thinking. Well it’s too late, Im unleashed and ready to pop!.. Uh oh!.. I hear some of my good friends saying…This of course will come with some discomfort as the breaking down and losing of old paradigms will occur. However, I shall accept these as they come and rather being remorseful I shall embrace and trust. I know that growth and development do not come from playing ‘safe’ and doing the same thing today as was done yesterday. It’s time to take more risks because it’s only in the ‘not knowing’ does magic happen. The ‘not knowing’ is where our instincts and our heart talks to us, and has no filters unlike the polarity of our brains. It is our brain that tempers these feelings with our filters should I?.... shan’t I?.... But what if… etc etc. When our heart speaks to us it is never evil or harmful to another sentient being – never!. Heart coherence is like being in love every minute of every day and every single one of us can achieve this feeling. I tell you it’s better than any recreational drug or intimate relationship I’ve ever had. A door has been opened where there is no turning back and I for one are stepping through I hope you do too. If you would like to know more for yourself please click on the link to register for my workshop @ St Josephites Retreat Centre 7/7/2019. Im half full already so please don’t wait too long. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2231309060310432&id=469613716479984

Mnone/ ![]() Mindfulness and Meditation have been around for hundreds of years, what is relatively new though, is modern science’s ability to measure the effectiveness of these practises. Whilst neither practise is essential to health and wellbeing, meditation and mindfulness have been proven to alter our frequency, increase conscious awareness and create a calmer and more cohesive state of mind. Firstly a non exhaustive brief about what is the difference between Mindfulness and Meditation. Mindfulness is the practise or the act of focusing on being more present of the body & mind in each moment it’s very ‘functional’. Meditation is also a practise, but one of stillness and concentration on the breath which can bring more coherence between the right and left brain and helps to reduce the ‘white noise’. By practising having a more ‘whole brain’ state modern science tells us that we will increase our level of functioning. That surely is worth a little attention one would think and at zero cost? And for those who say they “havn’t got time”? the paradox is that by making time for a meditation practise, even if it’s for just 5 – 10 minutes, then you actually make more time for yourself as you find yourself moving more efficiently through the day. Im very excited about what science is revealing about our health!. Modern science has also recently revealed that our heart centre has a brain of it’s own and that it has more neurites than our own brain! According to Greg Braden and the Heart Math Institute our heart acts like a ‘hot line’ to our head and not the other way around as we have been lead to believe. Although ancient civilizations have indicated this for centuries modern science is now proving it through measuring frequencies. This has the potential to turn old paradigms upside down, which could be a risky business when our whole health system is sitting on this old paradigm!. No matter what pathway we take though, simply being more ‘present’ in our daily life is enough to reduce stress which can improve our mental/emotional and physical well being. I will be running a one day workshop on the 7th July which will include an educational component around what the latest science is discovering about these links and more importantly what do we do once we start becoming more ‘awake’ to ourselves and how we can use this new knowledge to generate a healthier and happier life. This will be a small group so registrations will be necessary. So if you are someone who is wanting to re-write your script and create more calm in your life then this workshop if for you. We will learn how to intercept some of those stuck subconscious habitual ways of thinking and learn how to over ride them by creating new ones which are more congruent with what we want, and the best bit is that you decide what your own script is going to say. Life isn’t a rehearsal, this is it!. Make it count..
