It's no co-incidence that I named my 'blog' in the Midweek 'Expose Yourself' some ten years ago now. Why did I name my column this? Because I believe that it is only through facing our 'selves' (and especially in times of chaos) can we discover who we 'really' are. Our strengths, and our weaknessess, which all fall from what we perceive or believe our-selves to be. The only way past something which reveals to us what we are afraid of, is through it I have found..It's that delicate balance between being able to control what we can but recognising how vulnerable we not only are, but need to be as well inorder for a new future to unfurl. Somewhere in the present moment I have found that there is a tender and fragile balance between controlling and letting go...Some people call it 'being in the moment' other's call it 'presence' it really doesn't matter what we 'name' it I've found - whatever that space is has a vibration and as science now tells us is so magnetic....Thousands times more powerful than any other thought. Although I thought I 'knew' this over a decade ago - I look back and say to myself I really didn't 'know' it at all.. and I suspect I will look back in another ten years saying the same thing. However what only matters to me now is my intention to keep holding the tension between what is realised 'in this moment' and professionally all I can offer is to teach others how to do the same - but like any piece of information it's only going to be as good as our willingness to accept, and practise what we know or have learned - and that will only depend on our value and belief in it...The leap to presence isn't as hard as it seems - but rather the path of least resistance. I would thoroughly recommend it.
According to Gregg Braden we are the only beings on this planet that are able to consciously create.. or in other words we have the potential to be able to determine the difference between making a decision from our head or our heart. The work of Dr Bruce Lipton cell biologist also supports this. These Quantum scientists have revealed that our brain is a 'polarity organ' which means that our logical brain is fantastic at 'thinking' and weighing things up in a yes/no fashion. (for those of us who are fortunate to have a fully functioning brain). This leads to another question, then what is our thinking based on? It's common knowledge now that all our beliefs and values from everything that we have experienced and gave memorable meaning too (positive and not so positive), has informed who we 'think' we are. However this does not mean we are a victim to our own thinking. The same new science and the work of Gregg Braden and The Heart Math Institute has also revealed that the human heart has it's own brain, and is by far the more powerful of the two organs when it comes to making decisions and in fact our heart brain talks to our polarity organ and not the other way around like we have been lead to believe. This little piece of information can be life changing if it is heard, re-remembered and more importantly, practiced. One of the reasons why I now choose to regularly meditate and why it's a recommended practise for all of us is that meditation is proven to reduce the 'white noise' that goes on in our brains and when this 'clutter' reduces we can be more connected to our heart brain. Meditation is also proven to increase immunity and decrease stress, which is worth remembering especially now. When we are more in our heart brain we create a vibration which has a specific frequency, some scientists are calling this 'love', Einstein was one of those. (Love talked about here in the sense of a frequency rather than an emotion). We know when we have hit that frequency because there is such an overwhelming sense of connection that it can not be analyzed in our brain. It's beyond words. When I learnt Heart Coherence as a technique last year in Sedona I bought it back to my practise and have been actively passing this on to my clients in the context of what's happening for them in their lives. Our korero shifts between the need to analyze and talk about what's going on and the need to increase heart vibration and create something other than the experiences that their beliefs are seemingly holding them back from. The work I do can be researched by googling psychoneuroimmunology for those who need to satisfy their polarity organ. We don't need a degree to do this work it's available to all of us and is all over the net. I've recognised for many many years that the science of self help has to start from within and I only got to that point because of a decade of inner turmoil and conflict which was always my leverage to want something 'else' I just didn't know what. I practised lots of external stimulu's which of course lead to a shift internally, it just took a lot longer and it was hard to maintain when working from my logical organ only. I tried much, from crystals, to exercise, to a huge range of products which all supported my wellbeing, but none for me hit my call 'home'. Everyone is responsible for the thoughts they think and the things that we choose as our objects of attention. Personally I found it important to give as many things a go until I found the right ingredients that gave the right meaning for me. If you would like to join a group of like minds to talk about the Heart Coherence work please get hold of me or simply join our group on fb 'Stepping Into A New Paradigm'. Our lives can be explained, considered, talked about and debated , but in the end it will be our feelings that drive us through any experience. www.carlascoachingforhealth.com or https://www.facebook.com/CC4Health/
It's no secret the sort of work I do in my private practise and that it slightly differs than that of mainstream. Personally, for me Im only interested now in any research that comes from where Quantum Science and Philosophy meet, or any sort of values based practices. In mainstream there still is some great professional development available to me, but it doesn't quite hit the spot. What really makes my wheels spin is the work of Dr Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Dr Joe Dispenza, Dr Kerry Spackman, Heart Math Institute, Deepak Chopra and the late Wayne Dyer. Some up and coming physicians are also getting on board with this work as well! If anyone knows of any kiwi physicians who are stepping into the world of Quantum? Please forward them my details!.. I couldn't think of anything more exciting to be part of what appears to be a global awakening. Why am I so passionate about this is not just for fun, and neither is it just riding the latest trend, but rather it's because of my own lived experience. It was these Quantum principles and techniques that took me from just 'surviving' to thriving and also the reason for me starting this column some ten years ago now. Something significant happened to me when applying these techniques that I simply can no longer minimize for fear of being outside the 'norms'. Last year I also attended a conference in Sedona Arizona, where I was privvy to the latest information from The Heart Math Institute and some of the above scientists. This was a real catalyst for me to dive in even deeper into this work and I knew on my return that things would have to change, and they did. It's curious that our biomedical model hasn't yet embraced the work of Dr Bruce Lipton because he is after all a cell biologist? Im wondering what the barrier is there? His discovery some 50 years ago now, is only just getting heard and Epigenetics is now widely accepted in the Quantum Science circles. At the core of his work is the relationship between subconscious beliefs and our responses and environment. There is 4 ways that Dr Lipton says we can shift a subconscious belief and my own private practise offers 3 of those. We look at moving forward based on today, I don't go back to the past, I leave that for those who think they are going to find something there. My work is about tapping into potentials and creating something 'else'.
Im due to be back in Sedona in May for some more professional development with Anita Moorjani, who has one incredible story to tell and who also fully supports the 'heart' coherence and Heart Math kaupapa. <3An experience from someone who crossed over the veil:....: " I was given a choice to stay or come back. I was given a message that we make our earthbound life so complicated and it’s not meant to be that way. It’s just about love. To love ourselves, to give love and to receive love. That’s it. We are just meant to ‘be’ and to stop striving to make ourselves perfect. We are earthbound but ultimately we are all part on ‘one’ energy. I know it sounds blase but I was shown this and felt this so clearly.
Since coming back from the veil, my learning has continued everyday from the source. I feel I am everyone and everything and they are all me too. Therefore we are within the energy to be able to attract what we want. That’s why this meme strikes a chord. If there is a belief within you that you don’t deserve what you want or believe that you’ll never get it... then you won’t. It’s as simple as that. The energy that you expend will be matched to come back in.
I’ve been told by numerous doctors I should be dead. They don’t know how I am alive. Even now. From what happened. But I knew I was going to live, simple as that, so I did what my body and mind needed me to do to live. I matched my frequency. I did not even entertain thoughts that I wasn’t going to get better or that i was going to die.
It’s the idea that we are separate from anyone or anything that stops you. It’s that, that halts everything.
I still get sub conscious patterns coming up but I now feel like I am an observer and they end up floating away as the spark of energy doesn’t connect fully to me as I am now. The human experience can be difficult and one of the biggest challenges I’ve had since June last year is everyone else’s opinions on my healing and what I should and shouldn’t be doing rather than letting me listen to what my internal connection is telling me.
It’s quite hard to explain.
Another thing I learned is that we don’t need to keep paying for all these courses.. nobody has the secret to it all... no one is a guru and no one is above us, if we keep holding them in higher esteem we are separating ourselves from the one energy again. I also stand by everyone’s own opinion of what works so I am no way putting down their belief.
Anyway, I hope it helps a little. Remember you have all your own answers within x " DL.. 🌸💓🌈🙏🏻😇
There is nothing woo woo about meditation, all it does is to create a calmer mind to be more present in order to recognise what is the better path of least resistance. When chaos visits, as it does, a calmer mind will ensure we make a better choice for ourselves especially if we have been practising the heart coherence work which not only keeps us grounded and centred on what we REALLY want, it's also where abundance and all unmet needs are met. Decisions when we are in this place of coherence means we will immediately recognise what that path of least resistance looks like. It's harder to NOT be in our hearts than it is to be. The path of least resistance is a return to LOVE or a return to HEARTS. <3 <3 <3
What does it feel like? Expansiveness...freedom...safety...abundance...conectedness...wholeness.. abundance and more.. Its where everything feels divinly planned. It's a path of least resistance. It's the same feeling when we fall in love for the first time....it will bring us to our knees...There is a letting go in this state...we feel vulnerable and yet so empowered all at the same time..AND as conscious adults it's a practice. Once we lift our vibration through this practice its where we re calibrate and energy flows..and we will know how we are calibrating by what we attract..? and we need the contrast to teach us .. it's not about good and bad - it's just about alignment and letting go and going home.
